Hemsworth's Cream Catering move into Pugneys

The 800,000  visitors to Pugneys water sports and leisure complex in Wakefield will soon be enjoying fresh, quality food and professional  service from a vibrant new catering company - Cream Catering.

Cream Catering is a Hemsworth based social enterprise established in 2007 initially to provide high quality catering to the elderly at extra care schemes in Wakefield and Pontefract.  As a social enterprise, Cream also provides semi - supported employment to disadvantaged people.

Mel Beniston, Managing Director, is thrilled at this exciting new opportunity.  He said, 'Cream has developed an excellent reputation for what it does in its contracts with our Housing Association clients, indeed Cream has gained 5 out of 5 stars from scores on the doors for food hygiene, but we are always looking to expand Cream into other areas where we can extend our service excellence'.

Cream has been based at the Cedars Business Centre in Hemsworth since inception and has enjoyed a fruitful relationship with the business delevelopment team there.  'The Cedars is an excellent, modern base for us where we can bring our clients with confidence' said Mel,' we simply could not have developed to this point without the help of the Cedars team'.

 Very soon Pugneys visitors wil be able to enjoy food prepared and cooked by the catering Cream of the crop.
